Committee Mandate

Our mandate is:

to provide opportunities for training in music and worship leadership [to] aid in raising up more servants and stewards of these gifts. (Resolution 02.3.07)
to prepare an evaluation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod's proposed hymnal and agenda (Resolution 02.2.08)
to review and recommend songs and hymns newly written and/or from other tradition which congregations can use with confidence (Resolution 02.2.09)
to identify and encourage musically talented and gifted individuals within our church to write and produce sound theologically and confessionally based songs or hymns (Resolution 02.2.10)
to identify and organise intercessory prayer so that LCC congregations throughout Canada can participate each Sunday with one another in the general prayer, praying over the same issues. (Resolution 02.2.07)
