Veteran pastor shares experiences

Concordia Lutheran Seminary webcasts Timothy Lectures

Thursday, September 24, 2009

Each year students at Concordia Lutheran Seminary have the opportunity to hear from a veteran pastor about his life serving God's people in Lutheran Church–Canada. Thursday, September 24 Rev Bill Ney, senior pastor at one of LCC's largest and oldest congregations, St. Matthew, Stony Plain, Alberta, will speak to the seminary students. For the first time the lectures will be webcast at CLSTV beginning at 10 a.m. ET.

Pastor Ney has served congregations in both Canada and the US; was parish services executive for the ABC District and has been active in the church-at-large as secretary of Synod. He currently chairs LCC's Commission on Constitutional Matters and Structure.
