Our Central American Missions

Church Painting and Maintenance

Project Need

Over the years God has blessed us with volunteer teams who have given from their resources to assist our Iglesia Luterana Sínodo de Nicaragua (ILSN) congregations in building facilities in which they are able to worship. The members of these congregations do their best to maintain the buildings, but with their limited resources are unable to pay for any major repairs. Moreover, as humidity, sun, and the rainy season wear heavily on the churches' paint, after several years these churches are in need of new paint. Currently there are several churches in this condition and these congregations are requesting assistance.

Project Proposal

A volunteer team is invited to come and work with the members of one congregation in painting their facility and doing any major repairs necessary to maintain good security.

Once contact is made with Volunteer Coordinator Francisco Peralta, a church will be assigned. At present there are four churches in need to this assistance.

Project Costs

A cost estimate will be prepared for volunteer teams wishing to assist.
