Training of Musicians for Worship

Project Need

One of the goals of Iglesia Luterana Sinodo de Nicaragua is to train musicians so that each pastor will have a trained musician to accompany him as he leads worship in different communities of faith. The synod has been blessed with one excellent musician who has been charged with this educational ministry. Over the past year, this musician has been providing lessons to six young adults in six different communities on a weekly basis. While the musician does receive a stipend for his service in the church, this project proposal will cover the costs of transportation for the instructor to and from these different communities. Concordia Lutheran Mission Society (CLMS) has generously provided funds in 2012 for the instruments and sound equipment in the amount of $ 3,725.

Project Cost

Transportation to and from these different communities is estimated at $1,500 for one year.
